Luminary was involved in all aspects of this brand’s launch and growth, we worked closely with the founder to develop an elevated approach to engage with women differently from competitors in the lingerie industry. We thoughtfully created campaigns centered around body diversity, inclusivity, female empowerment, craft and quality to effectively capture Liberté’s core audience of buyers through each consumer touchpoint. With intelligent design, copy, visuals, digital & social campaigns featuring diverse casting, Luminary developed visuals and messaging centered around the slogan “the freedom to just be”. This also became a call to action on social media in which we asked women to define what freedom meant personally to them; a timely question for this black female founded DTC brand in the midst of Black Lives Matter and the Pandemic. Our goal was to inspire women to choose Liberté as a means to invest in self love. We focused on the luxury market while keeping this brand accessible for the modern woman. We amplified quality by further highlighting the brand’s use of cutting edge natural and high performance tech fabrics to bring breathable comfort tailored to each woman and solves pain points like under boob sweat.

We directed and produced a brand video narrated by Amber Tolliver of a self professed love letter - a reminder to love yourself first. Luminary helped craft Amber’s story and inspiration behind the brand stemming from her past frustration with the lack of available lingerie options for a wider size range which ultimately lead to her intuitive design ‘For Women By Women”, her beautifully crafted collections born out of love and personal experience to her consumers.

This brand went on to expand from being  DTC only to opening in-store accounts with retail giants such as Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, and Journelle. The “Everyday luxury” approach was a central theme throughout all campaign imagery created by Luminary which celebrates individuality rather than the fast fashion mentality or the constant chase for “perfection”. We were surprised to discover many women didn’t know their own bra size and therefore responded by launching a size calculator “Find Your Fit”  as an interactive metric on the website and socials for engagement touchpoints.
